The update window does not appear: what to do
If a long time passes without an update window, or you see messages such as “this version is no longer supported”, the cause is usually one of three: the app has not been fully closed for days and never re-checked, the connection was weak at launch, or the install permission for the 888starz app is switched off. Fix it in order: close the app completely from the recent-apps list and reopen it; check your connection; then go to Settings → Apps → 888starz → Install unknown apps and enable it. If that does not help, move on to a manual update.
Manual update with a fresh APK
A manual update means installing the newest file over the existing app. Download it with the “Download the latest APK” button on this page - the link always serves the newest build - then open it and tap Update. Android keeps the app and its settings as long as the signature matches. If you get a conflict message, the installed build is not official: remove it first, then install the original file.
What is new in recent releases
The developer publishes release notes in the App Store, and the same features reach the Android build. The October 2026 update brought a redesigned interface, an events feed with better grouping and search, updated bet history and statistics, and new navigation shortcuts with extra promos. Earlier 2026 updates focused on speed, stability and better live betting. The cadence has been roughly monthly since the app launched in February 2024.
Why not to postpone updates
Old builds gradually stop working with the cashier and live betting, because the server requires newer protocols. Updates also carry security fixes that protect your account, and they add new promotions that appear only inside the app. If you are looking for an older build for some reason, read the old versions page first.
